Where can my 2024 Kia EV9 charge at Tesla Superchargers?

Yes. Kia vehicles have had official Supercharger access since April 2025. You charge at any Supercharger marked “open to non-Tesla” using the Tesla app.

The 2024 EV9 has a CCS1 port. At NACS stalls you need a NACS-to-CCS1 DC adapter: the Kia NACS Adapter (ARSND916B4DIO) ($249). $249 at dealers. Free only for 2024/2025 EV9 and 2024 EV6 delivered on/after 2024-09-04. Niro EV owners and earlier EV6/EV9 buyers pay. Adapter details. Magic Dock sites (green) need no adapter at all.

At the stall: the 2024 charge port is passenger-side rear. Expect about 120 kW at a V3 stall, well under the car's 230 kW peak, because the 800 V pack has to boost from 400 V. V4 sites rated above 250 kW remove that limit. Back in, end stall preferred. 2024-25 EV9 saw 84-100 kW on V3; InsideEVs measured 120+ kW on a 2026 native-NACS EV9. Use 800 V chargers for road trips.

How to charge: download the Tesla app, choose “Charge Your Non-Tesla”, add a payment card, pick the site and stall number, plug in, then tap Start. Older V2 Superchargers (grey on the map) only work with Teslas.

EV6/EV9 are 800 V E-GMP: ~100-130 kW on V3 stalls, full speed on V4.

Good to know about Superchargers

Only Superchargers marked 'open to NACS partners' (V3, V3+ and V4 stalls with the Tesla app 'Charge Your Non-Tesla' flow) are usable by non-Tesla cars. Older V2 stalls are Tesla-only. A small number of V3 'Magic Dock' sites have a built-in CCS1 adapter and work for any CCS1 car regardless of brand agreement.
V3 and V3+ dispensers run roughly 400-500 V and top out at 250 kW. 800 V-class cars (Hyundai/Kia/Genesis E-GMP, Porsche Taycan/Macan, Audi Q6/A6 e-tron, Lucid, Mercedes CLA, Cadillac Escalade IQ/GMC Hummer/Silverado EV in some modes) charge slower there unless they have an on-board boost converter. V4 cabinets (500 kW, up to 1,000 V) started going live in September 2025 and remove that penalty.
V3 cables are short and sized for Tesla's rear-left port. Cars with a front or passenger-side port often have to park nose-in or across two stalls. V4 posts have longer cables.
Adapters: only a DC 'NACS-to-CCS1' adapter approved by the vehicle maker is covered by that maker's warranty; Tesla's app will still let unapproved adapters charge, but the OEM may deny warranty claims. AC 'J1772-to-NACS' adapters are a different product and are irrelevant for Superchargers.
